Daily Psalm 133  NLT
A song for the ascent to Jerusalem. A psalm of David.

1 How wonderful it is, how pleasant, when brothers live together in harmony!

2 For harmony is as precious as the fragrant anointing oil that was poured over Aaron's head, that ran down his beard and onto the border of his robe.

3 Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And the LORD has pronounced his blessing, even life forevermore.

Harmony is precious!
How delightful, how sweet, how pleasant when brothers dwell and abide together in harmony!

It's not a common thing -- it is precious. The psalmist compares it to the anointing oil that dedicated priests for service to the Lord. It is our faithful service.

We are also told that this unity and harmony is refreshing, we will be dry without it. And here in this place of dwelling in harmony, the Lord pronounces a blessing forevermore!
I dedicate this Psalm to my husband who holds it close to his heart!
Lord, help me to die to myself and to live for You. Help me to live in harmony with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you for the blessing that You pronounce upon our unity!
