Daily Psalm 117  NLT

1 Praise the LORD, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth.

2 For he loves us with unfailing love; the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!

For God so loved the world that...
It is interesting that the apostle Paul uses this psalm in Romans 15:11. Paul goes on to explain that God's plan of salvation includes the Gentiles (non-Jewish people) as well as the Jewish nation to whom Jesus first came. Look at Romans 15:8,9,11:

"Remember that Christ came as a servant to the Jews to show that God is true to the promises He made to their ancestors. He also came so that the Gentiles might give glory to God for His mercies to them. That is what the psalmist meant when he wrote: "For this, I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing praises to your name." (v. 11) And yet again, "Praise the LORD, all you Gentiles. Praise Him, all you people of the earth."

God is outside of time, He sees the beginning from the end and has a marvelous plan for those who respond to His love.

Father God, I am so thankful, thankful, thankful that You love me. I praise Your wonderful works!
